The Chatham County Board of Commissioners has requested a water and sewer agreement for the Chatham County New Trial Courts Building, a development consisting of a four-story trial court building in the President Street Treatment Plant service area. The water and sewer systems have adequate capacity to serve this 98.7 equivalent residential unit development. The Water & Sewer connection fee totaling $379,995 is based on the proposed water consumption and shall be paid by the developer prior to the release of any water meters. The agreement is consistent with policy directives given by the Mayor and Aldermen and has been reviewed and approved by the City Attorney for legal format.
