25. Motion to Amend the 2019 Revenue Ordinance

Description

Staff recommends approval of updates to the 2019 Revenue Ordinance for the purpose of aligning the City's fee structure with current and proposed business practices.  This amendment is the first for FY2019, and proposes the following: 

This amendment provides new/increased fees for:

  • Film Services Amendment Impact Fees
  • Film Services Historic Properties Impact Fees
  • Rental Fees for Cluskey Embankment Stores

This amendment also eliminates or decreases fees for:

  • Business Tax Certificate Reprints
  • Youth Summer Camp and Cultural Arts Programming through Scholarship Programs

This amendment provides changes to the following sections based on programmatic changes:

  • Program fees for the new Cultural Arts Center

This amendment provides updates to the following sections to provide continuity with City operations:

  • Sewer Tap-In Fees and Water Use Standards
  • Additional Water and Sewer Connection Fees
  • Archeology fees as allowed by State code
  • Consistency between Wrecker Services Fee information from the City Code and the Revenue Ordinance
  • Parking On-Street Lease Fees
  • Consistency between fee table and fee language for All Other Travel Accommodations regulatory fee
