| Description Recommend approval of Contract Modification No.2 for Summerside Park with Johnson-Laux in the amount of $5,405.25. The original contract was for the construction of Phase I for Summerside Park on Clinch Street adjacent to Derenne Middle School. This phase includes an ADA-approved parking lot, a park sign, and fencing along the backside of the property. A playground is also included and will be installed by a different contractor. This modification is needed for the installation of two additional benches on concrete pads and the relocation of the existing park sign for it to be parallel to Clinch Street. This contract was originally approved by Council on September 26, 2019 in the amount of $162,927.01. Contract Modification No.1 was approved by Council on January 16, 2020 in the amount of $24,717.08. The total amount of this contract to date, including this modification, is $193,049.34. | |
