Description

Recommend approval of Contract Amendment No. 2 for the design services contract for City facilities at Interchange Court to Hussey, Gay, Bell, & DeYoung in the amount of $9,170.

The original contract was for design services to relocate facilities at City Lot to Interchange Court. This amendment is needed to include the following: (1) reduction in design services that were not needed during the preliminary design and (2)  additional design services for modifications to the administrative building floor plans resulting from changes in the reorganization of City staff that was unknown at the time of the bidding process.

Council approved the original contract on June 8, 2017 in the amount of $1,705,787. Contract Amendment No. 1 was approved on July 17, 2018 in the amount of $98,007.50. The total amount of this contract to date, including both amendments, is $1,812,964.50.
