| Description Recommend approval to award an annual contract for automotive batteries for use on City fleet vehicles for up to $63,477.87 with O’Reilly Automotive Stores Inc. dba O’Reilly Auto Parts. This contract was bid and awarded through the Savannah First Initiative. The department will use this contract to procure maintenance-free batteries with characteristics to withstand rough handling and usage. The latest battery specification shall comply with the Battery Council International Battery Replacement Data Books, unless otherwise specified. This contract will expire on April 7, 2022. This Contract is for one year with three renewal options available. This bid was advertised to local only companies as part of Savannah First Initiative. The bidders were: O’Reilly Automotive Stores Inc. (Savannah, GA)(B) $63,477.87 (B) Indicates local, non-minority owned business. Recommend approval.
