Description

This is for a contract modification with Total Systems Commissioning, Inc. (TSCx) for Arena LEEDv4 Commissioning Agent Services in the amount of $1,875. Commissioning Services are a required step to achieve LEED certification. The process of commissioning ensures that all the separate mechanical systems installed in the facility operate efficiently together and are as easy to maintain as possible. This amendment will be used for services related to the subcontract with DBE firm Adjacent Solutions, LLC to provide workforce training & educational services on the topic of building commissioning with local stakeholders and educational partners in the City of Savannah, including Woodville Thompkins High School, Savannah Technical College, and other Savannah Chatham County Public School System schools.

The method used for this procurement was the request for proposals (RFP) which evaluates criteria in addition to cost. The criteria used for this RFP were qualifications and experience, technical capabilities, references, local vendor participation, and fees. The contract was originally approved by Council on November 7, 2019, in the amount of $183,850. The total amount of this contract to date, including this modification, is $185,725.
