Motion to Award Annual Contract for Water and Wastewater Sample Analysis to Florida Spectrum Laboratories (Event No. 5106)
Recommend approval to award an annual contract for water and wastewater sample analysis to Florida Spectrum Laboratories in the amount of $83,320.00. These services will be used by the Industrial and Domestic Water Department, the Aquifer Water System, and the Dean Forest Landfill to provide sample analysis to maintain compliance with Environmental Protection Agency standards. The apparent low bidder was not selected because it did not meet specifications requiring State of Georgia certification in chemical and microbiological testing.
The contract term will be from September 28, 2017 through December 31, 2017.
