Recommend approval to procure one fold-out shelter and trailer from Elite Aluminum Corporation in the amount of $120,361.65. This shelter will be used for a construction office at DeLesseps Avenue and Cedar Street as part of the Savannah Shines project. The shelter can also be moved to other sites or be used in an emergency response and recovery effort.

The unit price for the three-room shelter, which also includes a bathroom, is $93,361.65. The trailer needed to transport the unit is $27,000.00. These types of shelters are collapsible and can be set up by three people and made operational in 10 minutes. This type of structure will make an excellent portable office for emergency response situations, temporary construction offices, or for any situation that might require the City to quickly establish an office presence where other facilities are not readily available.
