Description Recommend approval to authorize the City Manager to execute contract modification No. 1 with Johnson-Laux Construction for Waters Avenue Phase II project in a reduction amount of $2,034.98. The original contract was for the construction of a new streetscape between Anderson Street and Wheaton Street. The majority of the work included demolition, new sidewalk with concrete banding, new stamped concrete crosswalks, striping, and decorative lighting. The modification is for additional work to include tree removal, additional asphalt and concrete work, additional signage, additional conduit, however, credits were given for fence reinstallation at Romona Riley site and not reinstalling traffic loops. This contract was originally approved by Council on August 8, 2019 in the amount of $1,555,290.19. The total amount of this contract to date, including this modification, is $1,553,255.21. | |
