Description Recommend approval to award an annual contract to lease a license plate reader camera system with Flock Group, Inc. in the amount of $33,000. The Sanitation and Code Compliance Departments will use the camera system to identify and monitor illegal dumping activity in multiple locations throughout the city. The vendor will be responsible to maintain the 12 leased cameras throughout the City and provide the departments with the actual data from the system. Per Section 2-4154 of the City’s purchasing ordinance, the City may purchase goods or services using a competitively bid contract from other governmental agencies. (Piggybacking) The contract used for this procurement is a Chatham County contract for Flock safety cameras (Contract # 782091134). It was competitively bid by Chatham County and awarded to Flock Group, Inc. This contract will expire June 11, 2021 and will have one renewal option available. | |
