| Description On August 29, 2023, Mayor Johnson issued an emergency declaration in anticipation of the projected impacts of Hurricane Idalia on Savannah pursuant to Section 3-3003 of the City Code. Section 3-3003 of the City Code requires that any such declaration be confirmed by resolution of the City Council at either a specially called meeting or the Council’s next regularly scheduled meeting. | |
