The sign panels are part of our Airport Operations Area (AOA) sign panel lifecycle replacement initiative for the Northeast and Northwest quadrants. The existing sign panels have reached the end of their functional life and require replacement to ensure continued safety and efficiency in these critical areas. This purchase was planned for and budgeted with funds allocated from the annual airfield maintenance budget. Allen Enterprises, as the original manufacturer of the sign panels, is the exclusive supplier equipped to provide identical replacements that meet our specifications and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) standards.
