The Savannah Airport Commission recommends approval to purchase one new JCB Model 3TS-8T skid steer with telescoping boom from Low Country Machinery, Inc., in the amount of $79,034.97.

The replacement skid steer is for use by the Savannah Airport Commission Facility and Grounds Department. This unit is a scheduled replacement for the existing SAC skid steer, which has reached the end of its useful lifecycle.

The low bidder did not meet the requested specifications. The bids were received through the City of Savannah’s Purchasing Department, Event No. 6369.
