The Recreation and Leisure Services Department's inaugural Girls Youth Football League has crowned its first champions. This program represents a historic milestone as the City’s first organized youth sports league dedicated exclusively to girls. From marketing and registration, to uniforms, team formation, and league branding, every aspect of the league was developed and managed by the City’s Recreation and Athletics team. Their efforts not only created a new opportunity for youth participation but also laid a strong foundation for future growth.
