19. Approval to Execute a Contract with Shamrock Concrete Construction, Inc. for the Demolition of the Air Cargo Building and to Construct a New Apron and Southeast Taxilane, Phase 1 Project, in the Amount of $6,630,140.

Description

This redevelopment project will demolish the existing Air Cargo building and construct a new Apron and Taxilane.  Approximately 16,000 SY of concrete will be placed for the new apron, and the taxilane will be constructed from Taxiway “B” eastward to Bob Harmon Drive.  Phase 1A consists of demolishing the southernmost building of the Quail Run Lodge and extending the proposed taxilane an additional 700’ east of Bob Harmon Drive.  This is a multi-phased project located in the southeast quadrant of the airport.  This project will be funded by Airport Improvement Program monies and is included in the 2022 budget.
