Description
Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM) is an annual international health campaign organized by charities every October to increase awareness of the disease and raise funds for research into the study of its cause, potential prevention, early diagnosis, treatment, and cure. In 2024, more than 360,000 people will be diagnosed with breast cancer. The disease does not discriminate between genders. Advancements in early detection methods and support continue to increase the chances of survival. When caught early, the 5-year survival rate is 99%.
