Recommend approval to renew an annual maintenance agreement for the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system with Emerson Process Management in the amount of $92,320.58.

The Public Works and Water Resources Bureau uses the SCADA system for remote monitoring and control of various lift stations, water wells, and stormwater stations. This agreement provides hardware repair, software updates, technical support, and other repair services related to the SCADA network. This is a sole source because Emerson Process Management is the original provider of this software. It is critical to have maintenance and support from the original provider to ensure authorized, knowledgeable, and timely vendor support when it is necessary.

This maintenance agreement expires on September 30, 2018.
