AT&T is requesting a new lease agreement for use of 350 square feet of City-owned land along with space on top of the City’s water tank tower located at the Savannah/Hilton Head Airport (1 James Blackburn Drive). AT&T plans to install, maintain, and operate telecommunications equipment at the leased property. The base term of the lease agreement is for a period of five years. The agreement also includes the option to extend the base term for three additional five-year periods. The initial annual base rent upon commencement is $72,000.00. This base rent will increase annually at the rate of 4% per year.   

The lease was prepared by Real Property Services and the City Attorney's Office in consultation with the City's telecommunications consultant at the Georgia Municipal Association. The lease has also been reviewed by the Bureau of Public Works & Water Resources and the Risk Management Department.
