In 2016, the Savannah Airport Commission approved a Letter of Agreement with The Vaquer Firm, LLC. for an annual fee of $48,000.00 for a one-year term ending August 31, 2017, with a provision for extending the contract for three additional one-year terms.  Staff is requesting approval for renewal of this agreement through August 31, 2018.

The Vaquer Firm will represent the Savannah Airport Commission for the purposes of all state and local legislative issues, including: 

• Airport funding
• Jet fuel local option sales tax 
• General transportation
• Coordination with DGADOT Intermodal Division
• Modifications to "For Hire Transportation" issues
• Labor contract matters
• Airspace protection
• Airport security
• Drone regulation
• Representation of SAC at the to-be-created Georgia Unmanned Aircraft Commission
• Environmental regulation
