| Description Recommend renewal of an annual contract for fire hydrants and repair parts with Ferguson Waterworks in the amount of $105,947.79. The fire hydrants are maintained in inventory at the Central Warehouse and are used by the Water Resources Department to replace failing fire hydrants in the water system. The vendor will supply three-way, 4.5-inch-diameter valve opening hydrants and repair parts, to be ordered as needed. The City of Savannah maintains more than 4,000 fire hydrants connected to more than 800 miles of water mains throughout the community. This contract term will be from October 11, 2018 through October 10, 2019. | |
