Description On May 26, 2022, the Petitioner secured a Special Use Permit to establish a bar/tavern at 2805 Bull Street (PIN 20074 33001) in Aldermanic District 5. The Application and the Permit itself requested the sale of liquor with the established bar/tavern use at 2805 Bull Street. However, when the item was presented to City Council, the agenda item write-up improperly read that the applicant was seeking only wine and beer options with a light food menu.
Both Staff and the Petitioner are requesting clarification that the Special Use Permit allows for the sale of liquor with the established bar/tavern use at 2805 Bull Street. All conditions of the Special Use Permit will remain in place. The applicant currently offers wine and beer options with food along with a packaged wine sale area within the interior space. The sale of liquor will require City Council approval through the alcohol beverage licensing process. | |
Recommendation Approve the Special Use Permit for the sale of liquor, beer, and wine at 2805 Bull Street under the following conditions:
