Title Motion to Approve First Amendment to Lease Agreement with Liberty Tattnall Partners, LLC
Description City staff have reached an agreement to lease a maximum of 125 spaces in the Liberty Street Parking Garage to Liberty-Tattnall, LLC for spaces needed to build a hotel at the corner of Liberty Street and Tattnall Street, subject to City Council approval. This is an amendment to a current lease with Liberty-Tattnall that increases the number of spaces requested and the rate of “24-hour-access” to reflect higher rates that are now assessed to hotels. Capacity within the Liberty garage does currently allow for the spaces sought by Liberty-Tattnall, LLC. The annual estimated revenue to the City for the 24-hour-access spaces under this agreement is $222,000.00.
