Motion to Award PY2017 Youth Services Provider Contract Awards in the amount $1,291,363.00

Description

The Coastal Workforce Development Board PY2017 Youth Service Provider Contract Awards. The Georgia Department of Economic Development, Workforce Division awarded the Coastal Region’s PY17 Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Youth grant allocation of $1,623,959 which was accepted on August 3 2017,(Item# 52) by City Council. The contracts will cover the period of July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018.

These funds will be used to provide work experience, occupational skills training, alternative secondary school services, tutoring and supportive services.
