Description Recommend approval of authorize the City Manager to execute Contract Modification No.1 with Astra Group for Rousakis Plaza Electrical Improvements in the amount of $31,984. The original contract was for upgrading the electrical facilities along Rousakis Plaza. Work under this project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform work upgrading the electrical system on Rousakis Plaza on River Street. Work includes, but is not limited to, installing new panels, installing conduit, minor demolition, and lighting fixtures for the stage. The contract modification will adjust the final quantities. The additional item is a 400 amp electrical service panel. Due to the long lead time of the panel, the contract time will be increased by 70 days. This contract was originally approved by Council on December 20, 2018 in the amount of $498,888. The total amount of this contract to date, including this modification is $530,872. | |
