Chatham County is overseeing improvements to John Carter Road from Old River Road to Little Neck Road, which includes milling, resurfacing, and striping improvements. The City will participate in the costs of said improvements that are located within its municipal boundaries. The County will pay the up-front costs associated with completing the John Carter Road Resurfacing Improvements and will be reimbursed by the City for all costs associated with the project that occur within its jurisdiction. These costs are estimated not to exceed $470,000, which will be paid to the County, in full, within 30 days of receiving the reimbursement request.
