Title Motion to Approve an Ordinance to Establish a Special Services District to be Known as the Visitor Impact Special Service District. | |
Description An ordinance in accordance with Article IX, Section II, Paragraph VI of the Constitution of the State of Georgia, to provide enhanced public safety, parks and sanitation services in the downtown area, which is heavily impacted by large numbers of visitors. Establishment of the district would allow the City to implement a service fee, which would fund enhanced programs of police, sanitation and park services within the district. First Reading of this proposed Ordinance was held on December 22, 2016. | |
