| Description The Mobility Services Department recommends amending City Ordinance to reflect more uniform speed limits on Whitaker and Drayton Streets between Bay Street and Victory Drive. Recommend that the speed limits on Whitaker and Drayton Streets between Liberty Street and Park Avenue be reduced to 25 MPH and that the speed limits between Park Avenue and Victory Drive reduced to 30 MPH and that a resolution to amend the radar permit be submitted to the Georgia Department of Transportation. In order to provide for enforcement of a reduced speed limit on Whitaker and Drayton Streets, the City’s speed limit ordinance must be revised and a resolution for the changes must be submitted to the Georgia Department of Transportation.
