The City is seeking to acquire a vacant lot located on E. 58^th Street (PIN 2-0097-38-002) in support of a park development in the Sackville Neighborhood. This acquisition is one of several lots targeted to expand a park site, identified as part of the Savannah Shines initiative, which in the first phase aims to revitalize the Edgemere/Sackville neighborhood east of Waters Avenue. 

The subject property is a 120-foot by 105-foot residential vacant lot located on E. 58^th Street just east of Cedar Street, in the Sackville Wilkins Ward, further identified by the Chatham County Board of Assessors as Property Identification Number (PIN) 2-0097-38-002. The current owner is Mr. Michael Moore.

The City and Mr. Moore have negotiated the purchase and sale of the property at a purchase price of $30,000.00. The appraised value of the property is $27,500. 

Staff recommends approval to acquire the vacant land located at E. 58^th Street (PIN 2-0097-38-003), and authorization to execute a contract for the negotiated purchase price of $30,000.
