Description Motion to approve Contract Modification No. 1 with Johnson-Laux Construction in the amount of $46,143.02. The original contract was for the construction of a new central police precinct of 13,300 square feet located at 1710 Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard. This modification is needed due to the various cost increases and credits due to unforeseen construction conditions and minor scope changes. These increases and credits include the following:
The original contract was approved by Council on March 15, 2018 in the amount of $4,407,306.91. The total amount of this contract to date, including this modification, is $4,453,449.93 which represents a 1.01% increase from the original contract amount. | |
