Description

This is to procure services for GIS Assessment and Roadmap with Woolpert in the amount of $100,161. The proposed GIS Assessment and Roadmap project is a critical investment in modernizing and optimizing the City of Savannah’s Geographic Information System (GIS). This initiative, led by Woolpert, will provide a comprehensive evaluation of the City's existing GIS infrastructure, ensuring alignment with current and future needs. Through a structured assessment, visioning workshops, and the development of a detailed GIS Roadmap, the City will gain actionable recommendations to enhance data management, system integration, and overall GIS functionality.

 

This project will support improved decision-making, operational efficiencies, and greater accessibility to GIS data for stakeholders, reinforcing the City’s commitment to innovation and digital transformation.

 

This procurement was made through a cooperative purchasing agreement, GSA 47QTCA25D002W. Cooperative purchasing is authorized as an appropriate procurement method in Division 10 Section 4-4152 of the City of Savannah’s purchasing ordinance. The contract was competitively bid by GSA and expires on December 9, 2029.
