The City of Savannah is committed to meeting both operating and capital needs that directly benefit its residents through the implementation of sound financial policies and practices. Periodically, supplemental budget appropriations to governmental and/or proprietary funds are required to ensure these commitments are fulfilled. These appropriations support authorizations approved by City Council and facilitate necessary transfers to address various operational and service-related needs.
