34. Approval to Support the 2020 Conde Nast and Travel and Leisure Advertising Campaigns in Partnership with the Hilton Head Island – Bluffton Chamber of Commerce in the Amount of $300,000

This funding is requested to support the 2020 Conde Nast and Travel and Leisure standard print advertising campaigns.  The campaign will be co-branded featuring the Airport and Hilton Head Island, reinforcing the message that Savannah/Hilton Head International is the airport of choice for Island visitors. Hilton Head Island has been voted the number one island by Readers’ Choice Awards for four consecutive years.  Up to 50% of Savannah’s traffic is destined for Beaufort County, SC. Given the recent rise in competition for passengers, staff recommends continuing these partnerships.
