| Description Recommend approval to procure a one-ton, flat bed, non-dumping truck from J.C. Lewis Ford in the amount of $34,170.00. This unit will be used by the Sanitation Department for the delivery and pick-up of new, replaced, or damaged residential refuse carts. This unit will replace a unit that has reached the end of its useful life and is no longer cost effective to maintain. J.C. Lewis Ford submitted a bid of $34,491.32, which was within both 2% and $500.00 of the responsive, non-local low bidder’s pricing. J.C. Lewis Ford was offered the opportunity to match the low bidder’s pricing, and agreed to match it. | |
