The Airport Badging Office utilizes Civix’s AirportIQ Secure Credentials software which minimizes human error and increases efficiency in the badging process. Utilizing this software has helped our Badging Office to pass our annual TSA Comprehensive Audit with no exceptions. AirportIQ Secure Credentials takes a multi-step process and turns it into one point of entry: captures fingerprints, sends all data to DAC at once, requests appropriate background checks, and sends notifications once results are received. Additionally, it communicates directly with our access control system, thus reducing the amount if input required to conduct background checks and issue badges. The software allows tenant users to access and manage the credentialing and badge approval process with their respective employer groups and will provide automated alerting functions to notify users of upcoming badge renewal requirements.
