Request approval of a lease extension through July 31, 2020 for use of space as a Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police mini-precinct within the McAlpin Square shopping center located at 1900 E. Victory Drive, Suite B-5. The current lease expires July 31, 2017.  

The existing lease agreement is between Regency Centers, L.P., Landlord (successor in interest to the original landlord, Equity One, Inc.) and the Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Savannah. The landlord is willing to extend the lease for another three years with no rent charged to the City.

This agreement was reviewed by the Assistant City Attorney and Real Property Services and the extension was requested by SCMPD Chief Joseph Lumpkin.
