Motion to Modify Contract for Elevator Modernization with Oracle (Event No. 4587)
Description

Recommend approval of Contract Modification No. 1 for the modernization of the Civic Center elevator to Oracle Elevator in the amount of $65,266.00. 

The original contract was for an emergency repair and renovation of the Civic Center west elevator, which had experienced repeated problems and was inoperable. In order to remain compliant with Americans with Disabilities Act regulations, an emergency procurement was undertaken so the elevator could be immediately repaired to ensure the Civic Center had functioning elevators for staff and patrons. Oracle was selected as it was the first available vendor to immediately respond. This modification is needed to complete the work. 

The contract was originally approved by Council on September 29, 2016. The total amount of this contract to date, including this modification, is $98,888.00
