The electric passenger shuttle will be assigned to the Airport Operations Department and integrated into the airport’s transportation fleet as an additional unit. Its primary function will be to transport passengers between stairwells and ground boarding gates, as well as directly from planeside to the baggage claim area. Additionally, when available and as needed, the shuttle will be used to assist passengers with transportation to and from the airport's parking facilities. The Commission advertised a Request for Quotation (RFQ) from March 31 – April 30, 2025. There were three bids received. As a result of the responses, Gatormoto Utility Vehicles & More, LLC submitted the lowest bid response meeting all specifications. This is a 2025 budgeted item in the amount of $67,000.
