Description
The Airport's sponsorship and marketing agreement with OVG Facilities and Zawyer Sports is proposed for renewal for a four-year term beginning in July 2026. The agreement includes marketing assets and promotional activities associated with Enmarket Arena, the Savannah Ghost Pirates, and the Savannah Steel women's basketball team. Sponsorship assets include branded banner signage, the Airport's branded runway in the arena lobby, center scoreboard signage, social media sweepstakes promotions, arena website branding, an in-ice logo during Ghost Pirates games, first-period sponsorship recognition, presenting sponsorship of the Flight Crew, Flight Crew t-shirt launcher activations, helmet stickers, and the "Prepare for Takeoff" feature during all regular-season home games for both the Ghost Pirates and Savannah Steel. Additional exposure includes logo placement on LED boards and the videoboard during Savannah Steel home games. Ghost Pirates games are broadcast on WJCL, FloHockey, and Amazon Prime, providing expanded regional and national brand exposure for Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport. The annual cost will be $245,000 in Year 1, with a 3% increase beginning in Year 2, for a total contract amount of $1,025,000 over the four-year term. This is a budgeted item in the 2026 Marketing Budget.
