Title Motion to Award Annual Contract for Chlorinator Repair Parts to Templeton & Associates (Event No. 5048) | |
Description Recommend approval to award an annual contract for chlorinator repair parts to Templeton & Associates in the amount of $30,885.16. The parts will be used by the Industrial and Domestic (I&D) Water Department to ensure safe operation, repair, and maintenance of the Industrial and Domestic Water Plant’s chlorine facility, which ensures safe drinking water. The I&D facility is required to perform both routine and annual maintenance on the chlorine facility in accordance with the submitted and approved federally mandated risk management plan as associated with the EPA 40 CFR Part 68 federal statute. This contract is an essential component of maintaining the on-going mechanical integrity of the process equipment associated with the chlorine facility. While bid notifications were sent to all known suppliers, only one bid was received. The contract term will be from June 8, 2017 through December 31, 2017. | |
