Title Motion to Approve Resolution Imposing a Temporary Stay on Short-Term Vacation Rental Registration | |
Description The resolution would impose a 90-day stay on processing new applications for registration of short-term vacation rentals. (Request of Alderman Bill Durrence) City staff is in the process of working with stakeholders to formulate proposed revisions to the short-term vacation rental ordinance consistent with its stated intent and purpose of protecting the public health, safety and general welfare of individuals and the community at large; monitoring and providing reasonable means for citizens to mitigate impacts created by the occupancy of short-term vacation rental units; and implementing rationally based, reasonably tailored regulations to protect the integrity of the City’s neighborhoods. | |
