Title Motion to Approve Intergovernmental Agreement with the Savannah Chatham County Board of Public Education for use of Space at Shuman Elementary School | |
Description A new agreement, extending use of approximately 8,000 square feet at Shuman Elementary School, for the Eastside Regional Community Center and the Eastside Golden Age Center, has been approved by the Savannah Chatham County Board of Public Education. The agreement extends use for another five years. There is no rent payable. However, the City is responsible for any staff and programming costs, as well as maintenance, repairs, and utilities. The annual cost for the City's Parks and Recreation Department to operate and maintain the Community Center and Golden Age Center is approximately $245,000.00. Either party can terminate the agreement with 180 days notice. | |
