Recommend approval to procure three zero-turn mowers from Low County Kubota in the amount of $31,982.55.

This purchase will provide three mowers – two with a 48-inch mower deck and one with a 60-inch mower deck – for use by the Park and Tree Department to replace mowers that have reached the end of their useful life cycle and are no longer cost effective to maintain. The mowers will be used to maintain parks and rights of way.

Quotes were received from two bidders. Low Country Kubota submitted the low bid, at a cost of $9,829.50 for the 48-inch mower deck and $12,323.55 for the 60-inch mower deck.
