Description

Recommend approval of Contract Modification No. 1 for the Paulson Athletic Building Roof Project with F.H Paschen in the amount of $6,935. 

The building’s roof was damaged during Hurricane Matthew. The original contract was for the removal of the existing metal roof, replacement of the wood decking, and the installation of a new metal roof. The contract modification is needed to include an additional sealant that will be applied to the new metal roof during the manufacturing process that will prevent leaks during heavy rain.

The original contract was approved by Council on March 12, 2020 in the amount of $114,532. The total cost of this contract to date, including this modification, is $121,467
