Description Recommend approval for the City Manager to execute a contract for a policy management and training system for the Savannah Police Department with LexiPol in the amount of $75,246. The police department will use the software to ensure easy access to comprehensive policies to limit agency risk and enhance personnel safety. The system allows online access to the department’s policies through a web-based platform and mobile app. This flexibility allows personnel to easily reference policies and complete training in the field. It also ensures that policies are up-to-date and legally defensible. The software provides daily scenario-based training that reinforces the agency’s policies and a solution to implement timely updates in response to new legislation and case law. This is a sole source because Lexipol is the only vendor to provide a comprehensive policy management solution with a web-based interface to track ongoing personnel compliance and knowledge management.
