Description
Recommend approval to authorize the City Manager to execute an annual contract with Ashbritt, Inc. (primary), Ceres Environmental Services (secondary), and DRC Emergency Services (tertiary) for Storm Debris Removal Services in a varying amount based on the nature and severity of disaster events. These services will be used in the preparation for and recovery from major debris generating disaster events.
The method used for this procurement was the request for proposals (RFP) which evaluates criteria in addition to cost. The criteria used for this RFP were qualifications, methodology, references, DBE participation, and fees.
An open goal was established for this event. All three recommended proposers were deemed compliant with this goal and were given points based on their proposed levels of DBE participation.
The contract term shall be from July 2, 2019 through December 31, 2020.
