Description

Notification of an emergency purchase of an upgrade for the Barracuda Message Archiver from New Cyber Source in the amount of $41,652.81. The Department of Information Technology discovered the City’s disk space for archiving mail was almost depleted. The upgrade had to be done immediately to prevent the City from running out of space to archive mail. This upgrade allows for more storage space. Due to the immediate need for more storage space, this vendor was selected; however, quotes were obtained from three total vendors. The recommended vendor was immediately able to provide the necessary software.
