| Description The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) has requested a permanent easement across a 2,363.8-square-foot section of the Savannah Ogeechee Canal right of way. The easement is needed for flood plain mitigation as part of the I-16/I-95 interchange improvements GDOT has scheduled for 2020. The easement will be located where the canal right of way currently terminates at I-95. Staff recommends donating this easement in support of the GDOT Project.
