Description

Upper East River is the single-family, luxury residential neighborhood at Eastern Wharf, a world-class, mixed-use development on the last piece of historic downtown Savannah property on the Savannah River.

In the residences of Upper East River, Director of Architecture Jeff Hamilton is reclaiming Savannah’s heritage, the 18th, 19th and early 20th century architectural styles at the heart of Savannah life and lore. Four distinct but patently blended residential sectors honor the Upper East River waterside legacy with 158 homes offering singularly elegant, high-style, entirely modern living in a walkable community.

Said subdivision is located in the Lamar Ward, 2nd G.M. District, north of President’s Street and west of the Bilbo Canal, lying along the Savannah River. The purpose of the subdivision is to create thirty two (32) residential lots, four (4) common areas. The subdivision plat also creates the right-of-ways of Port Street. Also, plat renames the existing Congress Street on Eastern Wharf (formerly Savannah River Landing) to Altamaha Street and a former 25’ Lane to Adler Ave.

Water and sewer service for this subdivision is to be provided and maintained by the City of Savannah. The tax property identification number (PIN) for this property is currently 2-0006-05-005. Total property area for this project 11.305 acres; with 1.116 acres of residential lots, 0.084 acres of common areas, 0.946 acres of right-of-ways, and 9.160 acres remaining.
