This request is to rescind the award for Dump Trucks with Stainless Steel Dump Bodies from Roberts International Trucks, Inc. in the amount of $278,798 and re-award to Freightliner of Savannah in the amount of $361,248 for two (2) 2024 model year Freightliner dump trucks with stainless steel dump bodies. Fleet received a request from Roberts International Trucks, Inc. to cancel award event No. 8847 because they would not be able to honor their original bid because the dump trucks are no longer available.

The stainless steel body dump trucks will be utilized by Water Reclamation and Industrial & Domestic Water. The trucks will be used daily for bio waste disposal and alum sludge disposal. The dump truck for Water Reclamation is a fleet addition approved in the FY 21 budget for the new Travis Field plant. The dump truck for Industrial & Domestic Water will be replacing vehicle No. 5828 which has reached the end of its useful life and is no longer economical to maintain. The bid was advertised, opened, and reviewed. Delivery: As needed. Terms: Net 30 days.
