Description

This is to award an annaul contract to Goodwyn Mills Cawood (GMC) for debris monitoring and oversight services in an amount not to exceed $400,000. The existing contractor, Witt O’Brien is no longer in the debris monitoring business. As a result, GMC agreed to purchase Witt O'Brien's monitoring division which includes existing contracts and all assets. GMC has requested to take over this contract. The service will be used to provide debris monitoring, management, recovery, and consulting services to support debris removal contractors in preparation and following a declared emergency activation. This includes monitoring and management of disaster debris generated from the public rights-of-way, drainage areas/canals, waterways, and other public, eligible, or designated areas. The total cost depends on the nature/severity of the event. The contract with GMC will be transfered with no change in the scope, terms or price. 

This was originally approved by City Council on April 7,2022.
